Dana Rachelle is a multifaceted soprano able to freely move through a variety of musical styles. Dynamic vocals from an adventurous singer brings a repertoire full of surprises. Her versatile sound allows her to include a musical spectrum of American standards, jazz, musical theater, pop, gospel, and classical stylings.
Dana began her music studies at a very young age, starting piano lessons at age six and classical vocal training at age thirteen. A native of South Carolina, she was greatly influenced by gospel music but actively sought other genres for artistic expression. Vocal training continued through college at the University of South Carolina where she performed regularly in the community and competitively on a national level. Experience includes singing in many languages including Spanish, French, Italian, Latin, Yiddish and Hebrew. Now a highly seasoned vocalist, Dana performs throughout the New York metropolitan area in various venues. She also continues to sing competitively, the most recent being a successful performance at Carnegie Hall.
